From the Boardroom to the Classroom: The Impact of Our Education Foundation

Serving as a Little Elm ISD Trustee and School Board Liaison to the Little Elm ISD Education Foundation gives me the opportunity to see firsthand the impact our community can have on our schools, teachers and students.

The Education Foundation helps turn great ideas into real opportunities. Through innovative teaching grants, scholarships, special programs and community partnerships, the Foundation provides resources that can extend beyond the district’s regular operating budget and make a meaningful difference in our classrooms.

When we invest in our teachers, that investment reaches students. A classroom grant can provide new technology, hands-on learning experiences or creative tools that help an educator bring learning to life. And many of those resources continue benefiting students year after year.

The Foundation also creates an important connection between our schools and community. Every donor, sponsor, volunteer and community partner who supports the Foundation is helping invest in the future of Little Elm ISD.

The impact goes far beyond dollars raised. It’s about supporting our teachers, creating opportunities for our students and showing them that an entire community is behind their success.

I'm proud to serve as the Foundation's School Board Liaison and to be part of a community that continues to step up for our schools.

Ken Beber serves as a Little Elm ISD School Board Trustee and board liaison to the Little Elm ISD Education Foundation. A dedicated community advocate and father of two LEHS students, he also serves on the Little Elm ISD Education Foundation Golf Tournament Committee, working to support local teachers, enrich student opportunities, and strengthen school-community partnerships.
